William Alisca Jr., AMFT

William is a first-generation Haitian therapist and mental health advocate committed to breaking the stigma surrounding therapy and creating accessible, affirming spaces for healing. Utilizing a post-modern approach, his work is relational and integrates somatic work and solution-focused approaches. With experience supporting low-income and at-risk youth, he works with neurodivergence, depression, and anger, and is particularly understanding of the experiences of first-generation immigrants. William is especially passionate about encouraging men to engage in therapy, challenging harmful societal norms, and fostering open, meaningful conversations about mental health and well-being. When working with his clients, William helps them build the skills to communicate their emotions more effectively and cultivate healthier, more fulfilling relationships. William approaches therapy as a collaborative process, meeting clients with curiosity, respect, and care.
